Kodai was a change.

After months without a full-time job, just holding things together with freelance gigs, I was tired of staring at the same walls. So I packed up and left — not to escape the work, but to breathe a little better while doing it.

We stayed at @zostel No big plans. Just hoped for some fresh air and maybe a mental reset. And somehow, it became much more than that.

As an introvert, I didn't expect much socially. I usually drift from crowds, keep my circle small, and protect my energy. But this trip caught me off guard. The people we met? They made it feel easy. We talked, played games, shared stories and food, and wandered the town. No pressure — just good company.

The views were stunning — but it wasn't just the place. It was the people, the laughter, the conversations that stuck. I didn't expect to enjoy being around people this much… but I did. And I kind of wanted more.

Kodai gave me a breather, a few new friends, and space to feel okay again.
